2021 Home for the Holidays

Last year, the 40th Annual Old Town Spring Home for the Holidays was very subdued due to COVID-19. This year, the 41st Annual Old Town Spring Home for the Holidays will be every weekend from November 13, 2021 to Christmas. The hometown holiday festival features a spectacular display of twinkling holiday lights, entertainment, family-friendly activities and photos with Santa every weekend! Mark your calendar and come discover our “Texas-style winter wonderland” this next winter holiday season.

The Tree lighting will be at dusk on November 13th, in the Museum parking lot, 403 Gentry Street (new location). The local shops and businesses will come alive with the Spirit of the Season. Visitors will enjoy holiday lights, horse-drawn wagon rides through town, and entertainment throughout town that will include strolling performers, school music and dance clubs, and local entertainers performing wonderful holiday sounds. The shops and boutiques will offer a variety of local unique holiday gift ideas and perfect treasures for everyone on your shopping list.

We are always looking for entertainment from local artists and performers and would like to invite you and your students to participate in this event on one of the weekends leading up to Christmas. We are looking for dance groups, choirs, acrobatics – you name it. Whatever talent you have that you would like to show to the world. We are a non-profit organization and are also in need of many volunteers. If you or your students would like to get credit for community service hours, we are the right place for you. Just let us know when you would like to volunteer in this great event.
